Signal’s Co-CEO Frank Torre, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) and Executive Board member of the Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare System, chaired the annual RIM Foundation Gala on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, which drew nearly 800 attendees at Huntington Place Convention Center in downtown Detroit.

The “Go Beyond Gala” honors the “strength, courage, and selflessness of those who have overcome the challenges of a life-changing illness or injury.”

Frank Torre has been committed to this outstanding organization for more than 13 years – and his fundraising initiatives have raised more than $11 million to date.  Funds are critical in helping to identify and fund healthcare programs, research, and initiatives that will have the most significant impact on improving the health of those living with disabilities and their families.

“The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan strives to provide opportunities that can lift the mind, body, and spirit and provide opportunities to Go Beyond Impossible,’” said Frank.

The event featured silent and live auctions, and Frank had the honor of presenting three RIM patients with the annual “Courage Awards.” RIM formally recognized and honored these individuals for their strength and courage in overcoming their challenges with grace and determination.

“Every dollar contributed tonight is a giant step to independence and quality of life,” Frank said.
