LOSS EVENT: FIRE & WATER DAMAGE

MultiFamily Apartment

Michigan

In December 2020, a fire broke out in one unit of a Southfield, Michigan apartment complex. The fire became out of control and spread to other units. Quickly, the entire building became engulfed in flames. The families in all 16 units of the building became displaced due to extensive structural damage from the fire, smoke, and soot to the whole building.

The massive amount of water needed to extinguish the fire caused additional structural damage to the walls, ceilings, and floors, affecting both levels of the complex. Signal Restoration Services team stepped in to help property managers safely clean, dry, reconstruct, and restore the property. Working side-by-side with our team, property managers were able to get continuous updates on progress and scope of work. Our partnership allowed us to get the buildings tenants back into their apartments as quickly as possible.
